It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Elaine Herald of Augusta, Maine, born in Houlton, Maine, who passed away on June 26, 2020, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Merle Hutchinson and Erdean Hutchinson (Britton); her husband Victor Herald; her children, Diana Satkunas (Lisa Duplessis) of Otis, Jamie McCarthy of Bangor and Summer Goodell of Waterville; her grandchildren, Christine Hill, Katie-Marie Hill, Lili McCarthy, Zane McCarthy and Saylor LaPlante; her great grandchild Jordyn Mae Hill; and her siblings, Steve Hutchinson, Bev, Mary and Joy.
