He is survived by : his wife Darlene of Palm Springs; his stepchildren, Ronald Kleve, Thomas Kleve and Joni Kleve; his siblings, Linda Albert (Rocco La Penta) of Freeport, Cynthia and Frank Albert of Augusta; his stepbrother James Albert of Augusta; his niece Laura Burden; and his children, Sebastian Shames of Portland, Griffin Shames of Portland and Isabella Shames of Portland.
