He was predeceased by: his former wife Artheline Kersey Belanger (Cyr); his son Paul J. Belanger; his stepson Ronald J. Kersey; and his brothers, Lee, Lawrence, Francis and Louis.
He is survived by: his parents, Thomas L. Belanger and Edith Belanger (Michaud); his wife Margaret Coolong Belanger of Boothbay Harbor; his daughter Vivian M. Belanger (Clifford H. Goodall) of Freeport; his stepson John A. Kersey of Waterville; his daughter-in-law Elaine Kersey; his stepchildren, Robert A. Creamer, Frederick L. Creamer, Valarie Gamage, Pamela Wiggins, Cheryl Erhart and Kevin Coolong; and his grandchildren, Matthew Kersey (Marianne) of Raleigh, NC, Gregory Kersey (Mena), Alyssa Richardson (George) of Ocala, FL, Audrey Cherry (Micheal) of Penns Creek, PA., Jennifer Plourde (Paul) of Cape Elizabeth and Stephanie Houdlette (Mark) of Pittston. He is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Due to Covid, the family requests that everyone wear masks and practice social distancing.
