He was predeceased by: his parents, Merrill P. Danforth and Violet Danforth (Abbott); his parents-in-law, Percy and Catherine Hanson (Wardwell); his siblings, Charles Goodspeed (Maxine), Marjorie Moores-Dill (Lincoln) and Lois Nickel; and his sister-in-law Marion Danforth.
He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline R. Danforth (Hanson) of West Gardiner; his son Kenneth R. Danforth (Marla) of West Gardiner; his brother Merrill A. Danforth of Gardiner; his grandchildren, Pamala Dixson, Nathan of Vienna and Richard A. Danforth of Pittston; and his great grandchildren, Alexander and Evan Dixson. He is also survived by several nieces nephews and cousins.
