We are sad to announce that on February 7, 2021, at the age of 83, Richard Quimby (Augusta, Maine) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Greta (Andrews) and Richard L. Quimby, Sr.; his wife Ann Quimby (Cameron); his sisters, Lois Grant, Jean Ellis and Rosemary Fortin; his brother-in-law Duncan "Sandy" Cameron; his son-in-law David Wheeler; his grandson Marcus Hall; and his close friend Shirley Bourgoin.
He is survived by: his children, Tamara Hall of Waterville, Shari Quimby of Waterville and Jim Quimby of Waterville; his stepchildren, Jamie Waterbury of Farmingdale, Judy Wheeler of Augusta and Rick Dawson (Terry) of Vassalboro; his sister-in-law Jeri Cameron of Thornhill; his aunt Dot Damon of Augusta; his grandchildren, Melody Smith, Tiffany Hall, Jason Waterbury, Rachel Waterbury, Allison Myers, Heather Wilson, Katie Wheeler, Ryan Wheeler, Sam Wheeler, Jessica Slater and Mike Hanson; and his close friends, Mel Lunt, Malcolm "Mac" Oliver, Janice Shepard and Dr. Ramon Cheleuitte. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
