He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Lapointe and Elsie Alexina Lapointe (Campeau); his daughters, Nancy Tarr and Joanne Lapointe; and his siblings, Armand, Robert, Normand, Maurice, Romeo, Florence Beaudoin, Alcea Lavallee, Rita Chapman, Arlene Lahaye and Joanne Lapointe.
He is survived by: his wife Anita Lapointe of Hallowell; his children, Roland Lapointe (Susanne) of Vassalboro, Paul Lapointe of Winthrop and Louise Roberge (Steve) of Monmouth; and his siblings, Henry Lapointe of Augusta and Theresa Larochelle of Augusta. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
