He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley A. Whittier and Frances Whittier (Martin); his wife Irene J. Whittier (Valliere); and his siblings, Keith, Leonard Whittier and Joyce Chick.
He is survived by: his daughters, Gail J. Champine of Waterville and Jane F. Roy of Biddeford; and his grandchildren, Stacy Grondin, Jessica Grondin, Carly Champine, Morgan Burnette and Dylane Farrington. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
