He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas R. Downes and Anne D. Downes (Trochak). He is survived by: his wife Susan M. Downes (Loecher) of Augusta; his children, Terence M. Downes, Jr. (Laura Simmons) of Augusta and Stacey S. Charest (Mark) of Augusta; his brothers, Dennis Downes of Simpsonville, SC and Kevin Downes of Palm Coast, FL; and his grandchildren, Zander, Harper Ann Downes, Emma, Zoe and Haylee Charest. He is also survived by several nieces nephews and cousins.
