He was predeceased by: his parents, John G. Burns and Mary Burns (Farrell); and his brothers, John "Tardy" Burns and Michael D. Burns. He is survived by: his sons, Daniel F. Burns of Augusta, ME and Ryan Burns of Pittston, ME; his brother Gary Burns (Carolyn) of Augusta, ME; and his grandchildren, Kadie Burns, Riley Burns and Sam Richardson.
