He was predeceased by: his daughter Sylvia (Roberta). He is survived by: his parents, Fred Schacht and Laura Schacht (Bradford); his spouse Roberta Blodgett; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Ricker (Shaina Buhler) of Pittston and Melissa Jordan (Dan) of Porter; his great grandchildren, Paige Ricker and Grady Jordan; his sister Claudia Caspole (Robert) of Gardiner; his nieces and nephews, Lynn Michaud, Jane Beckwith, Susan Jenssen, Eric Caspole and David Caspole; and his pet Molly.

Believing that family always comes first, Bill took loving care of his wife during her battle with Alzheimer's Disease; performed as an enthusiastic cheerleader at his daughters' educational and sporting events; supported his grandchildren's and nieces' and nephews' endeavors; and was always there for his immediate and extended family.
