He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Nutting and Anna Nutting Folsom (McLaughlin); his wife Donna; his son-in-law Normand Lapointe; his brother-in-law Dennis Whitney; and his sister Valerie Tilley (Nutting).
He is survived by: his children, Scott Nutting of Augusta, Brenda Short (Gary Towle) of Rye, NH, Lynn Rodrigue (Scott) of Beavercreek and Lisa Lapointe of Vassalboro; his grandchildren, Amanda Short, Lindsay Richards (Craig), Mallory Nutting (Jimmy Clark), Jessica Trick (Ben), Matthew Short (Megan Wooley), Ryan Rodrigue, Roger Lapointe, Will Nutting and Andrew Lapointe (Alexandria); his great grandchildren, Landon Nutting, Mila, Elena, Naomi Richards, Madeleine Short, Abigail and Madison Trick; and his siblings, Everett Nutting (Myra), Dennis Nutting (Dashay), Shirley Gosselin (Carl), Francis Folsom, Henry Folsom and Jeanne Nicholas (Joline).
