He was predeceased by : his parents, Dr. Carl M. Flynn and Anna S. Bourne Flynn; and his brother Howard Alvin Flynn. He is survived by : his children, Terry Worster (Rodney), Christopher W. B. Flynn and Kelly Coffin (Dale); his grandchildren, Raven Flynn, Corey Sutherland (Wayne), Matthew Coffin and Eddie Nicholas (Leann); his great grandchildren, Lucien, Eva, Tru and Chris; and his sisters, Jenifer Flynn Stillman and Sally Flynn Lounsbury. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, many of them lifelong friends.
