He was predeceased by: his father John Henry Cashwell Jr.; his cousins, JC and Margaret Cashwell; his siblings, Donna Cashwell and Toby Nichols (John); his mother Marjorie Hazel Cashwell (Pingree); and his in-laws, Margaret and John Norton.
He is survived by: his friends, Robert Schultz, Carl Crowe, JB Duncan, Eloy Garcia, Billy Knight, Don Matthews, Mike Rasbury and Gary Winsett; his former wife Alexis Sokolic; his close friend Douglas McLellan; his great-aunt Ethel; his grandchildren, Rory, Reese of Baltimore, Emil and Lee of Lamoine; his wife Julie; his children, Morgan Cashwell (Keith Adelsberger), Mollie Cashwell (Johannes Fischer), Emil and Lee of Lamoine, ME; his sisters, Susan Brander of Tennessee and Peggy Loomis of Florida; his siblings-in-law, Bob Hoblitzell, Gene Loomis, Kirk Sirois, Donnie Norton and Betsy Norton; his uncle Robert Cashwell of North Carolina; his friend Rick Warren; and his loyal co-pilot Wilson.
A memorial service was held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at 2009 Maine Forest, Products Council.
Donations in his memory may be made to the Maine Veterans Project, Bangor Homeless Shelter, and Bangor Food Pantry.
