She was predeceased by: her parents, Maud Davis Carlisle and George T. Carlisle, Jr.; her husband Garrett D. Speirs, Jr. of Bangor; her daughter Barbara Speirs Stevens of Silverdale, Washington.; her siblings, George D. Carlisle (Elizabeth Mason), Norman D. Carlisle (Pauline Campbell), John D. Carlisle, Charles F. Carlisle (Patricia Pozzy), Mary Carlisle Hilton (William Hilton) and Ruth Carlisle Robert (Randolph Robert); and her siblings-in-law, Robinson Speirs (Elizabeth Higgins) and Prudence Speirs Virgin (Howard Virgin).
She is survived by: her children, Garrett D. Speirs III of Bangor, Julia Speirs Brett (William J. Brett) of Westwood and Stephen C. Speirs of Bangor; her son-in-law James N. Stevens of Silverdale, Washington.; her grandchildren, Moira Brett Hardesty (Leonard Hardesty) of Chester, Sarah Brett of Boston and William C. Brett of New York, NY.; and her great grandchildren, William I. Brett and Anne M. Hardesty. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
