She was predeceased by : her father Lawrence Joseph; her husband James C. Melvin; her mother Laura Marion LaPointe (Nedeau); and her siblings, Lynwood, Robert, Ralph, Gilbert "Diddy", Russell, Darrell, Rita Cyr and Lorraine Cyr.
She is survived by : her sons, Scott Melvin (Tracy Barker), Kevin Melvin (Kim) and Troy Melvin (Tricia); her granddaughters, Amber Melvin, Angel Melvin, Courtney Melvin, Olivia Melvin and Erin McGinty; her daughter-in-law Lori Melvin; and her sister Mae Schwartz (Jerry). She is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
