With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Usn William Kenneth Banks (Bangor, Maine), who passed away on January 13, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Arleile Sweetser Banks and George Powers Banks; his wife Sandy; his grandson Steven "Tiger"; his nieces, Heather, Lisa and Natasha; his great-nephew Collin; and his brother-in-law Sanford Miller.

He is survived by : his siblings, Joanne Miller of Bangor, ME and Frank Banks (Marny) of Fairfax, VA; his sister-in-law Marie MacMillan (Stanley) of Hampden, ME; his children, Steven Banks of Standish, ME, Lauri Dean (John) of Gorham, ME, Lynaire Campbell (Ron) of Check, VA and Susan Banks of Suffolk, VA; his grandchildren, Lindsay Moran (Chris) of Chelmsford, MA, Andrew Dean of Washington, DC, Victoria Banks of Standish, ME and Taylor Banks of Standish, ME; and his great grandchildren, Cameron, Harper, Brooklyn Moran and Nichole Reardon.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 17th 2024 at the Brookings-Smith (133 Center St, Bangor, ME 04401). A burial will be held on Friday, May 17th 2024 at the Mount Hope Cemetery (1048 State St, Bangor, ME 04401).
