He is survived by: his wife Barbara McCrum Burgin of Bass Harbor; his brother Robert Burgin (Glenda) of Asheville, NC; his sibling's children, Carrie Burgin (Kevin Miller) of Asheville, NC and Andrew Burgin (Ginny) of Charlotte, NC; and his great-nephews, Everett, Walker and Alexander Burgin of Charlotte, NC..
