He was predeceased by: his parents, George Lewis Jr. and Christine Lewis Twombley; his sister Nancy; and his son Wayne. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Lewis; his children, John Jr., Kevin, Josh Lewis and Johnelle Fravel; and his brother Alton Lewis. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
