With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gloria Glenice F. Walter (Boothbay Harbor, Maine), born in Bangor, Maine, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 18, 2025 at the age of 87. Though Gloria Glenice has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank D. Faulkner and Ruby Faulkner; and her husband Robert Walter. She is survived by: her daughters, Wendy (Gerald Galgan) and Gretchen (Edward Heffernan).
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Columba's Episcopal Church (32 Emery Ln, Boothbay Harbor, ME 04538).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to either Midcoast Humane in Brunswick or St. Columba's Episcopal Church in Boothbay Harbor.
