She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Arie Haagen-Smit and Maria Haagen-Smit; her sister Maria; her brother-in-law Tom Daniel of Rio Rico, AZ; her son Devin; her daughter-in-law Rachel Demers of Baltimore, MD; her son Dierk; and her daughter-in-law Elaine Demers of Peekskill, NY. She was also cherished by two granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews.
