He was predeceased by: his wife Thelma A. Goodness (Rogers); his parents, Leo J. Goodness and Grace G. Goodness (Sutton); his son Bruce Goodness; and his brothers, Leo, Peter, Paul, Donald and John Goodness.
He is survived by: his children, Mary McDougal of Brewer, Carol Ross of Newburgh and Robert Goodness of Brewer; his grandchildren, Chris Goodness, Matt Ross (Alisha), Amy Sewell (Sonny), Monique Goodness and Paul Leo Goodness; and his great grandchildren, Peyton Ross and Braxton Sewall. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
