She was predeceased by: her sister Katherine T. Button; her half-sister Marion Nelson; and her brothers, Vaughn Burlock and Harvey Burlock. She is survived by: her spouse Attle M. Smith; her children, Dennison A. Smith (Marjorie) of Hampden, Harold W. Smith of Mars Hill and Carletta M. Bassano (Louis) of Ellsworth; and her grandchildren, Attle Smith and Jessica Gal. She is also survived by great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers those wishing to honor her memory may donate to Westgate Center's activities program to benefit her fellow residents.
