He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank E. Garland and Muriel M Garland (Clark); and his sisters, Hallie Albers, Janet Norton and Nacy Bickford.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Garland (Niemi); and his children, Carrieann Garland, Wayne H. Garland (Cathy), Mark Garland, Christine Rivera (Garland) and Brian Garland. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
