It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter David Stone of Brownville, Maine, who passed away on August 4, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward Fredonia and Bernice Velma Stone (Russell); his son Sean Edward Stone; and his siblings, Patrick Stone, Frances Weston and Peggy Burlock.

He is survived by : his wife Catherine M. Stone (Martin); his daughters, Tanya Baumgartner (Todd) of Savannah, GA and Shannon Varble (Brian) of Atlanta, GA; his siblings, Ronald Stone and Ginger Weston; and his grandson Dr. Alexander Baumgartner.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Beacon Hospice Care, 1026 Stillwater Ave., Bangor, ME 04401, or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
