It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lana Vining (Calais, Maine), who passed away on July 19, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her father S. Kenneth Sawyer; her brother Milford Sawyer; her nephew Kevin Vining; and her parents-in-law, Herbert, Eva Vining and Martha Vining.

She is survived by : her husband Maynard Vining; her mother Ruth E. Sawyer (Brown) of Charlotte; her children, Kenneth Vining (Janet) of Kittery and Krista Means (Joseph) of Charlotte; her grandsons, Connor Sherrard (Jasmine Corkins) of Charlotte, Colton Sherrard of Charlotte, Joseph Means (Felicia) of Charlotte and Patrick Means (Justine) of Edmunds; her great grandchildren, Jayda, Chevelle, Micah and Natalie Means; her sister Peggy Sawyer of Charlotte; her nephew Chris Vining (Lynne); her great-nephew Lucas; her great-niece Brooke of Alberta, Canada; her niece Kim Roberson; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Megan and Ashlynn; and her siblings-in-law, Gilbert Vining and Sandra Porter Vining of Alberta.
