He was predeceased by: his parents, David Curtis and Katherine Rodman Sanford (Fox); and his brother David Curtis Sanford III (Norma Larson). He is survived by: his wife Elinor "Ellie" Minnick; his children, Jeffrey (Jamille), Jennifer Reese, David (Jennifer) and Emily Runnels; his grandchildren, Mirielle, Colby (Aleisha), Claire (Zachary), Logan (Leah), June, Esther, Elizabeth (Nephi), Isaac (Alyssa), Benjamin, Katherine, Lillian (Bryce), Sebastian, Angelica (Kade), Dakota, Ana, Aiden, Patience, Reina, Phebe, John and Rachel; and his great grandchildren, Faye, Rose, June, Alden, Vernon, Stella Mae, Franklin, Van, Elinor, Adeline, Felicity, Daphni, Ava, Aimataarii Trident, Malakai, Charleigh and Rhyland.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Stephen Ward Meetinghouse of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (200 Union St, St Stephen, NB E3L1W1).
