It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia Sodergren Carr of Cape Elizabeth, Maine, who passed away on December 17, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, August and Lena Sodergren (Nelson) of Stockholm; her son Stewart J. Carr; and her siblings, Linwood, John, Robert, Ronald Sodergren, Evelyn S. Moran and Joyce Van Trump.

She is survived by : her husband Robert Jacklin; her nieces and nephews, Carol Sodergren, Beverly Sodergren Wardwell (Greg), Eileen Scarpetta (Vince), Barbara Wadsworth, Patricia Watson (Tom), Joyce Lyman (Charlie), Cindy Sodergren, Ena Hanson, Joe Higgins (Dorothy), Steve Moran (Kathy), Graydon Sodergren (Jamie), Glen Sodergren (Vernell) and Andrew Carr (Debbie); and her friends, Nancy Prescott and Steve Fox. She is also survived by several great-nieces and nephews, numerous friends.

Church capacity will be 65 due to spacing for Covid precautions and masks will be required.
