He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper Cote and Willa Cote (Thompson) of Woodland; his siblings, Mona and George; his sons, Sheldon Cote and Luke Cote; and his son-in-law Martin Carlson.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Cote (Little); his children, Arnold Cote (Denise), Dale Cote (Theresa), Dana Cote, Diana Monti (Michael), Kathleen Carlson, Nadine Velez (Jorge) and Cindy Ferreia (Michael); his daughter-in-law Theresa Cote; his siblings, Lue Cote (Merleen Little), Erlene Cheviot of Limestone, Dolores Cote and Lula Johnston of Woodland; his uncle Freeman Cote of Caribou; and his aunt Betty Robertson. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
