He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Stanley Hughes, and Nola Hughes, Sr. (McFarlin); his wife Pauline Hughes (Merrill) of Corinna; his children, Scott (Mindy Hughes) of Fairfield, Kristen Hughes of Phippsburg and Jennifer Wyman of Corinna; his siblings, Tommy (Nora Hughes) of Phoenix, AZ, Priscilla Ray of Carmel and Mildred Wescott of Winterport; and his great grandchildren, Stan, Polly and Jean-Marie Hughes of Corinna. He was also cherished by 8 grandchildren.
