She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Yates and Rita Yates; her sister Janet Marshall (Roger); and her brother-in-law Arthur Smith. She is survived by: her husband Elwood Perkins of Dresden; her sons, Dana Perkins (Theresa) of Milo and Russell Perkins (Kelly) of Dresden; and her siblings, Natalie Smith of Brunswick and Vernon Yates (Joyce) of Florida. She is also survived by five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren.
A graveside service will take place on June 7th at 11am at Forest Hill Cemetery in Dresden with a gathering to follow on the Perkins Rd., Dresden. in Barbara's memory donations may be made to the Maine Center for Cancer, Brunswick Maine 04011.
