He is survived by: his wife Norma; his son John Vollmer (Kathleen Silva) of Mt. Desert; his grandchildren, Chelsea Vollmer (Shawn Gallano) of Bridgewater, MA and Michael Vollmer of Mt. Desert; his great grandchildren, Emelia and Owynn; and his nephews, David Benson and Daniel Benson (Maureen).
