It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ayers Holmes Stockly of Falmouth, Maine, born in Wilmington, Delaware, who passed away on February 9, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ayres Jacques Stockly and Esther Wilson Stockly; his wife Doris Silliman (Didi); his children, Elise Stockly, Mariana Tupper (Ben Tupper) and Ayres Stockly (CC Stockly); his grandchildren, Caroline Eck, Lillian Tupper, Walker Stockly, Savannah Stockly and Olivia Stockly; his brother Charles; and his sister-in-law Peggy Stockly of Georgetown, SC.. He was also cherished by five sisters-in-law and three brothers-in-law and many many nieces and nephews.
