He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dr. David and Lila Dobson Smith; his wife Anne Dalton; his children, Winston Spencer Smith, Chantal Smith Carroll (Brad) and Gregory Townsend Smith (Kristin Ann); his grandchildren, Isabel David, Daphne Eldridge Carroll, Jack Dylan, Colin Ryan and Alexandra Elyse Smith; and his siblings-in-law, Douglas and Deborah Dalton.
