She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Franklin and Ruby Mary Alford (Layton); her siblings, Doris, Ruth and Byron; and her son Timothy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Michele Johns (Nick Desiderio) of Yarmouth, ME, Pamela Madison (Ed) of Newington, CT and Angela Johns (Michael Spencer) of Sutherland, ME; her grandchildren, Katharine Estabrook (Andy) of Yarmouth, ME, Mark Desiderio (Lora Van Slyke) of Denver, CO, Adam Madison of Newington, CT, Alec Spencer (Whitney) of North Platte, Nicholas Desiderio (Tara Ryan) of Quincy, MA, Sam Madison of Vernon, CT and Jessica Spencer of Windham, ME; her great grandchildren, Jack, William, Andrew Estabrook of Yarmouth, ME, Cozette, Derringer Spencer of North Platte, NE and Susan Desiderio of Denver, CO; and also Gena Ward. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
