He was predeceased by: his parents, William Meader II and Vertie Meader-Allen (Huff); his stepfather Forest Allen; his sister Patsy Gilbert; and his stepbrothers, Walter Allen and Harold Allen.
He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Mastine; his former wife Shirley Meader; his children, Martin Meader (Brenda), Steven Meader (Melissa) and Sandra Meader (Paul Campbell); his grandchildren, Helen-Elizabeth Meader, Megan Parker and Nicholas Meader; and his great grandchild Steven Masciarelli Jr.. He is also survived by aunts and uncles; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
