She was predeceased by: her parents, Thelma Moody (Oberton) and Wallace Moody; her husband Ed; and her grandson Glen. She is survived by: her children, Gregory Gilchrist (Janet), Veronica Plog (Thomas), Jerry Gilchrist (Maureen) and Cynthia Dixon (Scott). She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
