He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter J Bachelder and Vilda Bachelder (Moody); his wife Lucretia Gilchrest; his daughter-in-law Bambi Bachelder of Turner; his siblings, Walter R Bachelder, George Bachelder, Irene Hafford, Leonard Bachelder, Noreen S. Chamberlain, Dalon Bachelder and Tony Bachelder; and his great grandchildren, Tylee and Kacey Hobbs.
He is survived by: his children, Roger Paradie (Norine) of Turner, Leland J. Bachelder Jr. of Turner and Rhonda Bachelder (Guy Blanchard) of Berwick; his grandchildren, Michele Bachelder (Devin Corliss) of Turner, Ryan Bachelder of Turner, Angela Butler (Shawn) of Turner and Jennifer Robitaille (Nicholas) of Lisbon; his great grandchildren, Harley Bachelder of Turner, Cameron Butler of Turner and Chloe Butler of Turner; and his siblings, Glenis Jackson of Avon, Christine Hafford of Monmouth, Earl Bachelder (Janice) of Friendship, Deana Hewins of Leeds, Evelyn Ray of Sabattus, Dennis Bachelder (Cheryl) of Pembroke, Steve Bachelder (Lisa) of Leeds, Sherry Callahan of Salem and Sharon Jones of Phillips. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
