She was predeceased by : her parents, Merritt James and Helen Mae Voter Averill. She is survived by : her husband Frederick A. Ross of Harrison; her children, Jay L. Walker (Donna) of Thompson, CT and Jolene W. Bowdoin (Todd) of Somerset, VA; her grandchildren, Keenin J. Walker (Alice), Jennifer LaBarge, Timothy N. Lemire, Abbey E. Heflin (Brian), Chase W. Bowdoin and Connor P. Bowdoin; her siblings, Nancy Ayer of Rockwood, ME, Cloyd M. Averill (Nancy) of Bow, NH and David V. Averill (Sandra) of Farmington, ME; her stepchildren, Amanda Henderson (Jon) of Orono, ME, Jason Ross (Allison) of North Bridgeton, ME, Heidi Jetton (Allen) of Lakeland, FL and Robert Akers of Kennebunk, ME; and her stepgrandchildren, Isabel, Samuel, Adam Henderson, Kourtney, Emily Burnham, Brittney and Mathew Adeamski. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
