As we bid adieu to Carrie's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Carrie has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

She was predeceased by: her father Frank J. Sr. Smith; her husband Pierre J. Gagne; and her brother Frank J. "Butch" Smith Jr.. She is survived by: her mother Norma Smith (Ellis) of Presque Isle; her son Alan R. Hitchcock of Limestone; her grandson Shepard A. Hitchcock of Caribou; and her sister-in-law Irma Smith of Los Angeles, CA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
