He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Dean (Walker) of Fort Fairfield; his children, Christopher L. Dean (Victoria) of Marlboro, NJ, Jason D. Dean (Patricia) of Caribou, Cheryl A. Everett (Douglas) of Devon, Susan C. Patenaude (Michael) of Presque Isle and Diane L. Boone (David W. Leighton Sr.) of Stetson; his grandchildren, Thomas Dean of Marlboro, NJ, Matthew Dean of Marlboro, NJ, William Dean of College Station, TX, Kathryn E. of Bangor and Rachel D. Patenaude of Bangor; and his sister Jessie Davenport Fort Fairfield. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
