He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip L. Rochford and Melvina C. Rochford (Brooker); his sister Catherine B. Saucier; and his siblings-in-law, Karen Rochford and Larry Hunter.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Rochford (Oakes) of Fort Fairfield; his stepsons, Daniel Real Oakes (Lynn) of Turner and Real J. Oakes Jr. of Limestone; and his siblings, James Rochford of Houlton, Philip A. Rochford (Phyllis) of Fort Fairfield, Thomas Rochford (D'Ann) of Fort Fairfield, Veronica J. Rochford of Fort Fairfield, Rebecca A. Drost (Roland "Spike") of Presque Isle, Mary S. Hunter of Mapleton and Teresa E. Doughty (Kevin) of Fort Fairfield. He is also survived by ten step-grandchildren; six step-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
