With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Greta Barker (Fort Fairfield, Maine), who passed away on January 15, 2022 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold E. Howlett and Vernice Howlett (McQuade); her husband Floyd P. Barker; her siblings, Richard, Glenna, Laura, Marguerite, Marion and Carol; and her son-in-law Robert Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Laura Smith of Albuquerque, NM, Matthew Smith of Albuquerque, Sarah Smith of Albuquerque and Sharon Barker (John Hoyt, family: Adam Barker-Hoyt); her grandchildren, Taylor, Matthew Hoyt of Poland and Brenda Barker (Bill Burgess, family: Charlie, Sadie, Stella) of Fort Fairfield; her friends, Laura and Mac O'Donnell (family: Donna, Malcolm, Edwin); her brother Lewis Baker of Tilly, NB; her niece Debbie LaTour of Grand Falls, NB; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ruth Lockhart of Bangor and Frankie Todd of Jeffersonville, VT.; and also Greta. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
