He was predeceased by : his father Leonard LaPoint; and his grandparents, Emile, Delphine LaPoint, Gilbert and Theresa Cyr.

He is survived by : his mother Gail LaPoint (Cyr) of Bangor; his daughter Grace LaPoint-Robinson of St. David; his sister Reneé LaPoint (Phil Carmichael) of Hermon; and his niece Makayla Rudge of Hermon.
