He was predeceased by: his parents, Elise Leavitt and Ralph Leavitt; his wife Jackie Leavitt; his brothers, Bud Leavitt and Paul Leavitt; and his daughter-in-law Karen Leavitt.
He is survived by: his children, Paula Leavitt of Franklin, Charles Leavitt (Donna) of Ellsworth, Deborah Leavitt of Franklin, Timothy Leavitt (Jerry) of Franklin, James Leavitt (Audrey) of Lamoine, Andrea Pape (Fred) of Cumberland, Lynne O'Connor (Jim) of Cape Elizabeth and Stacy Calabrese (David) of Northborough, MA. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
