She was predeceased by: her parents, Eiler M. Jacobsen and Lillie C. Jacobsen (Strohbehn); her husband Robert Emil Stuhr (Bob); and her brother Donald Jacobsen. She is survived by: her children, Linda Scranton (Dix) of Norfolk, Merry Jo Stuhr of Gray, Nancy Foringer (Don) of Overland Park, KS and Richard Stuhr (Kae) of Shelby, IA; and her sisters, Dorothy Adkinson of Central City and Joann Hauptmann (Number) of Neligh, Nebraska. She is also survived by grandchildren, step-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made to the Shelby Volunteer Fire Department, Shelby, Iowa, and the Avoca Public Library, Avoca, Iowa.
