It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Maxine Stuhr of Gray, Maine, who passed away on April 21, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Betty Maxine Stuhr to show support.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Eiler M. Jacobsen and Lillie C. Jacobsen (Strohbehn); her husband Robert Emil Stuhr (Bob); and her brother Donald Jacobsen. She is survived by : her children, Linda Scranton (Dix) of Norfolk, Merry Jo Stuhr of Gray, Nancy Foringer (Don) of Overland Park, KS and Richard Stuhr (Kae) of Shelby, IA; and her sisters, Dorothy Adkinson of Central City and Joann Hauptmann (Number) of Neligh, Nebraska. She is also survived by grandchildren, step-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Memorials may be made to the Shelby Volunteer Fire Department, Shelby, Iowa, and the Avoca Public Library, Avoca, Iowa.
