He is survived by: his sisters, Susan H. Perkins (Mike Schneider) and Jane H. Hoffman (Lenny Ferris); his nephew Chris Perkins (Megan) of Sarasota; his brothers, James Herring (Eileen) of Bradenton and Steven Herring; his uncle Doug; his aunt Marlene Lyford of Dover-Foxcroft; his nephew Isaac Herring; his close friend Dorothy Pooler of Guilford; and his friends, Ron Eaton, Janice Rawley and Pete.
