She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ralph Burgess and Carol Cameron Burgess; her children, John R. Burgess (Kelly) of West Newfield and Susanna Girard (Bertrand) of Hollis Center; her siblings, George Burgess, John Burgess and Linda Morongell; and her grandchildren, Jasmine, Kyle, Taylor, Bert, Michael, Falesha, Tarsha, Latesha and Emil. She was also cherished by several great grandchildren.
