It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dolphine Gloria White of Houlton, Maine, who passed away on June 21, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Dolphine had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Dolphine may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest White (Buck) and Violet Mildred White (Bragdon). She is survived by: her children, Ann Cole of Smyrna, Anthony, Diane White of Smyrna and Holly (Bryant Markie) of Washburn; her siblings, Ernest (Pete), Linda White of Missouri, Virginia Tucker (Ginny) of Merrill and Harris White (Patty) of Oakfield; and her aunt Ginny. She is also survived by Many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bowers Funeral Home - Houlton (10 Water St, Houlton, ME 04730). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Merrill Cemetery.
