It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Avon Stanley of Howland, Maine, who passed away on July 3, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Avon Stanley to pay them a last tribute.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clarence Stanley and Jessie Stanley (Granville); his wife Clarice A. Stanley (Giles); his children, Greg Stanley (Susanne), Keith Stanley (Donna), Barbara Stanley, Brenda Hanson (Rodney), Blandine Dvilinsky (Robert), Avon Stanley, Jr. (Melanie), Karen Paul (Donald), Jessica Dugans (Chip) and Michael Stanley; and his daughter-in-law Bonnie. He was also cherished by eighteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Due to pandemic limitations, funeral services will be private, with interment at the Howland Cemetery.
