He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frederick R. Phillips and Hazel T. Phillips (Thomas); his children, William T. Phillips (Sandy) of Buxton, Thomas Phillips (Wendy) of Lyman and Laura Starnes (James) of South Carolina; and his sister Kathleen Phillips of South Portland. He was also cherished by ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
